Just back from club night? Before your next session, find out which part of the rally keeps handing the other side points.
Bent FeatherFind the one stage costing you points
Log the points you lost in one badminton session. The page treats the rally as a pipeline and finds the stage leaking the most points - then you fix that one and leave the rest alone.
1 The lost points
One row per point you lost. Name your shot that went wrong when you can (my clear landed short, my serve clipped the tape).

One run labels every point with its rally stage, finds the one stage leaking the most points, and coaches only that: one thing to do next game with the shots you have, what to leave alone, one drill and what to tally next time. The page re-checks the verdict against the run's own stage labels.

How the verdict is decided
Each lost point gets one rally stage - serve, serve return, net play, clears and lifts, attack, defence or footwork - from the first shot of yours that went wrong. The stage with the most points is the binding stage; a tie goes to the earlier stage in the rally, because it feeds every later one. Then, in order: no stage with two points is spread thin; a binding stage where at least half the points were your own mistakes is an own goal; otherwise it is under pressure - the other side is winning those points, so the fix is usually the shot before.
Keep it safe: warm up before you play, and if anything hurts - a twinge, a strain, a rolled ankle - stop playing on it and have a doctor or physiotherapist check it. This is a light self-coaching tool, not professional coaching or medical advice. Nothing you type is kept unless you press save.
